My Independence Day table photos are a bit late... hey it is still July!
An overview of the table - just a few differences from last year's table; the addition of the star dishes.
Another angle... I made the runner several years ago when my tablescaping was in its infancy.
A pretty patriotic place setting. I'm not sure how appropriate it is to have a rendering of the flag on a charger (serving tray).
Extreme closeup of the small pinwheel so you can enjoy the sparkles.
One of the adorable lady bug lanterns. Unfortunately they came in a set of three, would love to have one more lantern or even another set of three.
Close up of the plate stack.
Finally, the ariel view of the table in all its red, white & blue glory!!
After taking off most of the spring I seem to be getting back into the tablescaping flow, only time will tell.
Did any of you watch the Christmas movies on Hallmark during the first two weeks of July? Christmas in July might be a bit much for some people but I loved it! I loved every minute of it especially because it's been so hot here.
It certainly made me start thinking about Christmas decor and baking. After watching one particular movie I got interested in traditional Christmas cookies & pastries from different countries. Some of them I got from the movie and others I just found online. If you have any traditional Christmas treat, cookies, pastries or candies, recipes you'd like to share with me, I'd be happy to have them. I'm not sure how many I'll be making but I'll be sure to post the results of my recipe testing.
I hope you're having a great summer and thank you for stopping by my blog!
I'll be linking up with Between Naps on the Porch and the Table It! party at Rustic & Refined this week.
P.S. Still haven't been able to get the header on my page fixed, hopefully that will happen soon.
